Audrey Hepburn and Cat from Breakfast at Tiffany’s

Audrey Hepburn’s feline co-star was Orangey, an orange tabby who made his film debut in 1951 in “Rhubarb.”  Orangey went on to make appearances in films like  “This Island Earth” and “The Incredible Shrinking Man.”  Orangey is the only feline to win the “Patsy Award” twice, the animal world’s equivalent of the Oscar.

Here’s a link to the IMDB page on Orangey.

I didn’t know this stuff about the kitty from Breakfast At Tiffany’s!! He’s such a cute kitty….I just love him! Thanks for posting this!

  2. Carl Says:

They didn’t even mention “Cat” in the cast of characters, who is clearly the star of the movie!

  3. Miny Says:

    What is Orangey’s breed?

  4. Denis Ryan Says:

Thanks very much for the information. I finally got to watch “Breakfast” last night and Orangey clearly stole the show. To be honest I thought he carried the movie. Thanks again.

  5. Danny Says:

My cat, Valentino, aka “Moopey”, looks like him a lot. When we took him to the vet for a checkup, all the kids came up to him in his case and were calling him Garfield! They wanted to pet him through his cage. He’s so loveable and friendly too! We took him out of his case and he went right to the weight scale because it had a cup-shape to it and he loved sitting in it because it was so comfy for him!
